As the population of neurodivergent students grows on campuses, more purposeful planning and design lead to more spaces that meet their needs. As an added benefit, those same decisions improve conditions for all students. Join us for a conversation about how institutions can thrive through this approach to planning.

What this will cover:

• Making the case for better accommodating neurodiverse students in living areas
• Integrating the considerations of neurodiverse students into all stages of hall planning and design
• Examples of design features.

1. Gain a greater appreciation of the needs of neurodiverse students.
2. Better understand how design and features can ease sensory concerns.
3. Be introduced to additional planning strategies to supplement Universal Design concepts.
