Small College & University Network

We have about 430 students living on campus and have had waiting lists and are using a hotel to house students.  The college converted a building that was an academic building with 2 classrooms and 4 faculty offices, but at one time was a church.

The building has a large living room area with a kitchen, a sleeping room with only beds for 20 people, and 4 lockable rooms for wardrobes/dressers/desks.  This set up is similar to traditional sorority/fraternity style housing and it is the first year we are housing students in this building.  Right now we have a football club living there but want to be creative and think of other options if they no longer want to live there next year.  There are only 11 men living there this semester and it has been great to work out the 'bugs' of housing students in a newly remodeled building.  We meet with the men regularly to see what they need for the space (shoe racks, walk off mats for the entry way, added towel bars for the showers, etc)

Question - does anyone else have this style of housing?  Do you have an affinity group living there?  Any words of wisdom?  

Any suggestions for creating group interest in a large shared living space?
