I am wondering what all other live in professionals get to say is a "perk".

Specifically, do you get a meal plan?

What is your housing accommodation?(Mine is a full apartment, no roommates)

    Hello!

I live on campus in a two-bedroom apartment with an additional office space with no roommates. My fiancé (who is a student on campus) is able to live with me and I am able to have two cats with me! I do get a meal plan, equivalent to $300 dining dollars per term. I have made minor changes to the rooms, including putting in shelves and a new shower head, so that was nice.

I was able to talk with IT Services and get a personal WIFI hotspot in my apartment with staff WIFI so I don't have to use the student WIFI. My supervisors let me remove all the student furniture and bring in my own furniture so it felt more like an adult space and less like a student space. We don't have specific live-on staff spaces, so my room is a true student room.

The one thing that I really would like, which we don't have, is free parking or a designated parking space for live-on staff. It doesn't make sense to me that my contract requires I live-on campus, but you must pay to have my car to be on campus or park on the other side of campus because there is not a whole ton of space for on-campus residents to park.
